Grand Canyon Youth is proud to offer financial aid to those who demonstrate financial need or have a compelling circumstance.

We work hard to keep the overall price of our program as affordable as possible, and require students to actively earn their participation. Participants are eligible for financial aid once a year. Financial aid decisions are based in part on financial need, on the student’s written essay, and on available funds. A financial aid request form is included in each program essentials packet found on our forms & applications page.

As part of our collaboration with Chaco®, all financial aid recipients receive a pair of river sandals to use on their trip in exchange for completing two extra hours of community service. Thank you, Chaco!

If you can afford our programs, please do NOT apply for financial aid so we can use these limited funds for someone who truly needs them.

Your donation ensures that our experiential learning opportunities are available to young people with minimal financial resources. In the last five years GCY has distributed over $140,000 in financial aid funds!
