Native American Youth Artist

An innovative program for Native American youth interested in developing their artistic skills against the stunning backdrop of the San Juan River.

Under the artistic guidance of renowned Dine artist Baje Whitethorne, you’ll embark on a creative journey. You will receive your own personal art kit to use while on the river and at home, so you can continue your artistic endeavors. At the end of the 5-day trip, you donate a piece of finished artwork to be included in the traveling native youth art exhibit.

This program will be ran in collaboration with Kinlani Dorms of Flagstaff for the 2013 season.
