A unique experiential river program for middle school students

Jump feet first into the San Juan River in Southeastern Utah to explore the interactions between fish, bugs, plants and river life. As part of this 6-day program, youth have the opportunity to work alongside scientists to collect data related to this amazing river. Learn about how invasive species have changed the ecology of the river and the ongoing efforts to restore it. If you've ever wonders how fish see in muddy water, come learn the answer to this and many other intriguing questions. This is a great introductory experience for middle school students.
