Wilderness Explorer

Our Wilderness Explorer program helps youth discover the amazing complexity and beauty of the Colorado River watershed!

This program takes you north through the heart of the Colorado Plateau where you camp, hike, and visit local museums to deepen your understanding of the area. It culminates with a Green River trip through Gates of Lodore in northeastern Utah. Through a partnership with Dinosaur National Monument, you make a difference by removing invasive plants.

This program is primarily for Grand Canyon Youth alumni. Dig deeper, get dirty, and play hard!

Ages 15–19
Limited to 12 participants
