Come get your feet wet!
Come feel the exhilaration of whitewater, hike through ancient canyons, play in waterfalls, move beyond your comfort zone, give back to your community, make new friends, and work as part of a team.
Grand Canyon Youth is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Flagstaff, Arizona. Our mission is to give youth (ages 12–19) an experiential education along the rivers and canyons of the Southwest in an effort to promote environmental awareness, community involvement, personal growth, and teamwork among people with diverse backgrounds.
We are proud of our many partnerships. Our relationship with Grand Canyon National Park is especially beneficial in helping us carry out our mission.
We believe in the power of youth. Our educational philosophy is to inspire curiosity in the individual, the community, and the natural world. Through our program, youth participate fully in every aspect of their experience, from paddling boats to setting up camp to presenting educational projects.
We are proud of our strong community partnerships.
